THE FUGS - FACTORY SEALED RARE 1966 ORIGINAL LP ON ESP-DISK PSYCHEDELIC MADNESS?
By 1966,The Fugs were way out front of many bands in their sometimes crude sense of humor, their occasional overtly sexual references, or political stances. Nonetheless, they built a loyal audience and this album was a real stage setter! 
Reviewed by Matt Fink in AllMusic.com, he compares the lyrics by The Fugs in the 60's to the Dead Kennedys in the 80's, suggesting similarities in their approach to humor, although noting The Fugs were far more crude! He also made comparisons on two tracks, "Morning Morning" and "I Want To Know" as real highlights, that could have found a home in the repertoire of another groundbreaking NYC band, The Velvet Underground & Nico, who would soon arrive on the scene! Like the Velvet's darker "Sister Ray", The Fugs also delivered a bold, highly explicit eleven-minute track, "Virgin Forest." It's all here in Mint condition - inside and out!
Of note: there are very, very slight dings on the bottom corners of the cover.
