Description

The Gamblers are a Surf Rock outfit formed in Los Angeles in 1959. Distinguished by their early instrumental Surf Music as well as vocal harmonies, they are one of the first acts to record surf music." Moon Dawg", recorded in late 1959 is acknowledged as the first known surf song to be released. Group members included Bruce Johnston(Beach Boys, etc.), Larry Taylor(Canned Heat, Tom Waits..), and Sandy Nelson. Released on the World Pacific Label, X-815. Record has some minor scuffs that do not affect play and plays out NMINT-.  Shipping is $4.95 for first 7" and $2.00 for each additional.
