THE GENTLE RAIN, Moody, Polydor 1973,ORIGINAL NOT REPRESS!!!
This is a strange one, obviously a Holy Grail, this copy is in pretty crackly condition....
The sleeve has various tears, rips, dints and blemishes (as can be seen on the photos).
The vinyl is very noisy throughout, please bear this in mind before bidding, as this is a no returns item...
I have had it professionally cleaned, and it plays ALL the way through without skipping or pops, but that CRACKLE is pretty major, if you're listening out for it, especially....
otherwise you could pretend it's the sound of 1970s rain, or frying eggs, but it is constantly there! And I really dont think further cleaning is going to improve this, this is as get as it gets...
Especially on the quieter more delicate parts, although on the crazier rocking bits it's definitely less noticeable, of course
This has been in my collection for 30 years, and has been carefully stored in a smoke-free pet-free home, a nice chance to own one an original vinyl copy of this from 1973, thanks for looking.
