Description
Yazoo L-1012, “The Georgia Blues 1927-33”. Original East 8th St. vinyl plays at NM, with heavy 78 RPM static on some tracks but not all. The jacket shows few if any signs of wear: seams are strong, corners are square, and there are no bends, ringwear, or writing. There is a bit of rubwear or soiling on the jacket back. Artists include Fred McMullen, Gitfiddle Jim, George Carter, Peg Leg Howell, Willie Baker, Blind Blake, Bumble Bee Slim, Charlie Lincoln, Barbecue Bob, Willie Baker, and Sylvester Weaver. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail for $11.75 extra is strongly recommended. (Last year, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than three LPs will be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.
