DESCRIPTION
GENERAL: You are bidding on a superb copy of a rare original 1967 UK pressing by THE GNOMES OF ZURICH on the CBS label (2694) "HIGH HOPES" b/w "PRETENDER" 7-inch 45 RPM single with 4-prong push-out centre. In original CBS company sleeve.
Line-up: Kevin Lear - vocals, John McGurn - lead guitar, Trevor Heyworth - bass, Dick Allix - drums.
VINYL: The vinyl is in stunning mint condition with no discernible surface marks or blemishes. Both sides retain their original bright sheen.
LABELS: The labels are in near mint condition, nice and clean, with no spindle trails, stickers or tears. There is a letter 'A' written on both sides (see scans)
CENTRE: The 4-prong push-out centre is fully intact and has no damage. There is no spindle wear. , SOUND: The record plays superbly throughout, loud and clear, without hiss, crackle, pops or anything to spoil the enjoyment. Definitely no skips or jumps.
