Hi, and welcome to psych_out! auctions!!!
I've collected 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!! Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided to offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid gold music history out there!!! Make no mistake, I'll try my best to consistently offer some of the VERY BEST records available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!
I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only ever offer THE BEST, MOST AMAZING, MOST IMPORTANT, VERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).

IMPOSSIBLY RARE UNIQUE PRESSING OF THIS CLASSIC DEBUT ALBUM FROM THIS LEGENDARY PIONEERING PSYCH PROG BAND FEATURING THE PRE URIAH HEEP KEN HENSLEY AND LEE KERSLAKE AND THE PRE JETHRO TULL JOHN GLASCOCK, AND THE EXCELLENT JOE KONAS ON GUITAR AND BACKING VOCALS!!! THEY WOULD LATER REBRAND AS TOE FAT AND THEN LATER HEAD MACHINE WITH THE MAJOR MINOR ORGASM RECORD, BEFORE HEADING OFF TO BECOME PROG ROYALTY IN THIER IMMENSELY SUCCESSFUL LATER BANDS!!! THIS WAS THE VERY START OF THE JOURNEY AND IT SOLD NOTHING!!! ONE OF THE VERY FIRST HIPGNOSIS DESIGNED SLEEVES EVER!!! About : Ultra Rare Original 1969 UK ONE EMI BOX Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! AN absolute classic LP from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LP!!! Classic UK One EMI Box 1969 Columbia labels!!! Both sides are FANTASTIC with NO real signs of age, NO writing, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this hasn't had too much play over the years at all!!! AWESOME for a 47 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Very Good++!!!

Record : Visual -

Spectacular Original 1969 UK Columbia Vinyl!!! Nice bright, and shiny with fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks OK with NO really excessively nasty marks, NO deep scratches that ruin playback, and NO vicious scuffs either!!! It just has quite a bit of general age wear such as a few of the usual light wispy sleeve traces, some vaguely feelable but still fairly light scratches, an obvious but small cosmetic dent/pressing mark (possibly from pressing, plays through with no problem thankfully) and a few hairlines and one or two scuffing areas mostly from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, none of these blemishes interfere with smoothness of play at all thanks to the quality deeply pressed 1969 issue!!! Used and not looked after very well, but still ok for a record of this age and rarity and very playable!!! And thankfully, it sounds AWESOME!!! Must grade overall visually as Poor to Fair!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Record : Audio -

Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic stereo separation and clarity!!! It really sounds great with NO hops, sticks OR skips!!! Only (like pretty much all records) has a touch of low level static in places such as on the run in grooves, a few ticks and clicks here and there on occasions, and just a touch of mild "bluesman's fag" crackle and pop in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections and between tracks, but it really doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! (it's much more soft and atmospheric rather than the sound of bacon frying!!!) I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! A hugely enjoyable listen - The music is TRULY loud and clear with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from 1969 UK Columbia vinyl!!! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audiably as Very Good!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Sleeve :

Original 1968 UK 1st press front laminated flipback G&L “patents pending” sleeve with unsplit advertisement inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT too bad at all, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO writing OR graffiti, and still strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has a few usual signs of ageing such as creasing and ringwear, a surface scuff to the top left of the front and a few touches of edge whitening with storage ruffling to the opening (nno splits whatsoever), some general light ageing to the unlaminated back such as some rubbing here and there and some general mild dulling and discolouration (nothing too drastic - no coffee cup rings, nasty grubbiness, writing OR graffiti whatsoever), some denting/rounding to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! Despite some ageing, this remains a solid presentable sleeve - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and despite some creasing, even the spine remains unsplit and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at least as Fair!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me) 

Summary : A used but GREAT playing example of this INCREDIBLY RARE psych prog classic original 1969 EXTREMELY LIMITED one EMI box label press LP!!! Hard to find in ANY condition, but SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS UNBELIEVABLY EARLY AS THIS!!! YOU MAY NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!! Bid now!!!

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
