The Grateful Dead - Europe '72 - Tri-Fold 3LP 1972 WB 3WX 2668 GREEN LABEL - SANTA MARIA PRESS. Condition is used. I am selling a few selected LP's from my personal collection. This is one of my favorite albums (why I have amassed three copies over the years), just an amazing collection of songs and performances. The Green label pressings have the best sound and are an incredible piece of history.
Condition: A very nice set of these original Green Label pressings from the Santa Maria Plant. I am grading all LP's as VG because, while looking absolutely beautiful and possessing that all that wonderful original green label sound and soundstage (as if you are there in the front row), if held under a strong light, there are scattered scratches which are surprising given the overall clean appearance and lack of any spindle marks. Upon listening there are occasional ticks and pops. Most notably, there is a scratch in the middle of "Walk Me Out in the Morning Dew" that lasts a while. If you are looking for a very nice copy short of VG+ this is the one.
All records professionally cleaned.
Cover: VG. Looks quite nice. Binding has the usual damage at the very bottom and has been reinforced nicely in the inside panel at the very bottom to prevent against a half-inch section from falling off. A hardly noticeable set of neatly written initials in black on the inside cover.
Comes with VG+ booklet and EX inners.
