The Grateful Dead, one of the leading bands in the West Coast psychedelic rock scene, released this masterpiece live album in 1969. This masterpiece was ranked 7th in Rolling Stone magazine's "50 Greatest Live Albums of All Time".
It features 7 songs selected from the shows held at the Fillmore West and Avalon Ballroom from January 26 to March 2, 1969.
Starting with "Dark Star," a 23+ minute epic that takes up the entire A-side, "St. Stephen" from the "Aoxomoxoa" album, and "The Eleven," "Turn On Your Lovelight," "Death Don't Have No Mercy," and "Feedback. The psychedelic rock jams continue.
This listing is for an early U.S. pressing of the green label without the W mark, pressed in the early 1970s. It comes with a double-fold insert and a company sleeve. The vinyl is in good condition.
