Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This somewhat rare LP by the '60's group, The Great Society, with it's outstanding performer Grace Slick (later to be of Jefferson Airplane fame), is in super nice, practically like new condition. The album -- which was recorded "live" at the Matrix in San Francisco -- is entitled, "Conspicuous Only In It's Absence" from 1968 and features 9 great songs by the group. The album is just one of many nicely conditioned LPs I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead and nearly all are highly collectible and in great shape. As mentioned already, this LP is in great, near perfect condition and features 9 releases by the group including the songs, "White Rabbit", "Somebody To Love", and "Sally Go 'Round The Roses" among others. In my opinion, the condition of both the vinyl and the jacket are both super good and practically like new, but please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge for yourself. LABEL INFO: It is on the original red, "360 Sound", Columbia Label, in Stereo, and in my opinion, is in absolutely beautiful shape. I don't even see any spindle marks around the center circle which indicates to me very little play, if any at all. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is super shiny, clean and nice with nothing negative to report at all---it really does look about as nice as the day it was 1st purchased over 40 years ago. JACKET INFO: Likewise, the original jacket is also extremely clean with no flaws whatsoever either. But, please view the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these '50's-60's LPs out there very much anymore, espiecally in this kind of outstanding shape so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to get to yet -- of all varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$16.00 for the 1st LP and then just $6.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! rowser does not support JavaScript.
