Description
ON offer here is a great copy of Horizons by The Greatest Show on Earth, a UK first pressing on Harvest (SHVL 769) from 1970. And this particular example of the iconic Hipgnosis laminated gatefold sleeve must surely be among the greatest left on earth, probably as good as it gets, nearly 50 years down the line.
LABELS/VINYL: Both pre-EMI labels are in VG+ condition with no unwanted writing or tears and hardly any spindle activity discernible even when viewed under strong halogen lighting. Both sides of the vinyl (VG) look superb when viewed in normal light but plenty of very light little wispy markings (certainly no feelable or deep scratches) show up when examined under strong halogen light. The disc plays beautifully from beginning to end with no skips or jumps.
SLEEVE: This gorgeous gatefold sleeve with its generous spine is in strong VG+ condition with no unwanted writing or tears but just a little laminate lift and a few hardly noticeable little creases. The card remains good and strong and the spine a fine wider-than-the-norm example.
Yet another well cared for record from my own collection ... with plenty more to come so keep up!
