Description

From the personal archive of noted James Brown historian Alan Leeds.
An unusual rock/jazz album by James Brown's arranger Dave Matthews and his Cincinnati based combo including guitarist KENNY POOLE, bassist MICHAEL MOORE and drummer JIMMY MADISON. Soon after this record, Matthews, Moore and Madison moved to New York and began long careers in NYC studio bands and internationally recognized jazz groups.
A highly collectible original stereo pressing of the only album issued on James Brown's People label while it was still distributed by Starday-King. (All later People releases were distributed by Polydor.)
While the record has normal retail labels, the cover hasa promo sticker on the front..
