Description
This is a fine original US pressing copy of the debut LP by British psych/hard rock band Gun (then calling themselves the Gun), released in 1968. The trio was led by the Gurvitz brothers, Adrian and Paul, though their last name is anglicized as "Curtis" in the LP's liner notes. The record is notable not only for the UK hit single, "Race with the Devil," but also for sporting the first cover art by Roger Dean, who gained fame soon after with his cover art for the band Yes. The jacket has light ring, corner, spine, and seam wear (EX). The disc is clean with a few hairline scrapes, and plays with light surface noise between tracks and in some quieter passages (EX).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
