Description

A mega rare lp release from SOUTH AFRICA.  It is the SOUNDS ORIENTAL 2  lp , on the SOUL TOWN label. The sleeve is ex, but has a sticker on the front side, the lp is MINT. The HI-LITES originally hailed from Johannesburg and all members cam from the large Indian community. The band plays a mix of Indian pop music, with both Indian and Western music influences.  On this particular lp the Hi-Lites play popular film tunes, which are all being given hi lite beat treatment, with lots of clarinet, saxofone, percussion and so on.
