This is a fantastic box set containing 12x12 inch pieces of vinyl featuring some of the most integral tracks that helped shape the house music scene....
it spans right from the early salsoul / Levin style disco tracks , through to the acid madness of such tracks as Armando - No way back.
There are 120 storming tracks on these pieces of vinyl, and they are all dj friendly, i've played these out, and they are excellent.
This limited edition boxset would be a welcome addition to any dj's record box, and would provide an instant depth and knowledge into the collection, all the tracks featured here helped shape the sound of chicago in their own special way.
The boxset comes complete with a special book explaining the history of house, and adding insight to the influence people like Frankie Knuckles and Farley Jackmaster Funk had on the scene.
