Description
Scarce original 1964 45 RPM single on Kalamazoo, Michigan's HITCH-HIKER Records M 1000 of THE HITCH-HIKERS playing the excellent mid-tempo groove-punker "YOU'RE THE ONE" backed with "WHISPERING WAVES", a slow moody surf instrumental with sax and surf-twang guitar. Condition is VG+. Vinyl has good gloss with some scuffing on both sides- plays great. See scans for label condition. Both front and rear have ring wear. The silver printing on the light blue/grey colored labels is not the easiest to read because of the lack of contrast. The A side label is worn and has some light pencil writing.
The bands only other release was on the PHALANX Label in 1965/66. They later changed their name to The THYME.
