Description
Solid VG++ vinyl, cover minor edge/corner ding wear, all straight no splits.
Very late 50's, perhaps early 60's Sax/organ/guitar/drums group playing 'the top jump tunes of all time' - recorded for their regular gig at the Glennwood Bowl in Ontario (?) but recorded in a very basic studio direct to 2 track tape. Nice raw sound with plenty of guitar, no overt production touches or any overdubs - just the band doing hits of the day inc a vocal each side on 'Do What You Did' and 'What Did I Say' (sic) line-up is Bill Billows (sax) Don Billows (guit) Lionel Vachon (guit/piano) and Len Leitch (drums) the latter born with "drum sticks in his hands," which must have made for a difficult birth.
For once the cover does not lie - this is a 'collector's item' - a slice of a real working combo doing their thing.
