with salacious lyrics, double entendre and references to vice

One of the legacies of 19th century Minstrel Shows

There were many groups of black musicians in Chicago

during the 1920s and 1930s who used the name The Hokum Boys

This record was cut on June 27th 1929 in Richmond Indiana
