When the sixties were awakening from the rock and roll era and showing the character of the decade, The Beatles and Beach Boys had become the high bar in music and fashion on both sides of the Atlantic.
However there were others making fantastic sounds and moves - The Bee Gees, Steve Miller Band, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Jefferson Airplane and yes, The HOLLIES made their own
giant steps.
FOR CERTAIN BECAUSE is a delightful album which exemplified the culture - rhythmically involving and inventive, romantic, lovely vocals, insistent music that's a MUST for enthusiasts of the best of pop rock music!
Highly recommended, a wonderful record!
