You are buying a 2 LP set called THE HOUSE OF THE SEVEN GABLES written by Nathaniel Hawthorne a new abridgement read by Guy Sorel and produced by the Listening Library in Mint condition. The record number is AA 3331/2.
The 2 LP set is still sealed in its original shrink wrap making the records NM/MT. The jacket has a small nick at the top edge of the back side. All four corners have minor wear.

One of Nathaniel Hawthorne's ancestors was a judge in the Salem witchcraft trials of the 17th century.Tradition has it that one of the accused had cursed this judge and his posterity;Hawthorne embodies this curse into the central core of his novel.The main theme concerns not only the perpetuation of this curse but also its termination through acts of redemption, love, and self-sacrifice."
