Description
(Please note I’ll be taking a break and will recommence listing more gems from 27th April 2008)
Very limited release package of the Hummingbirds first 4 singles pressed on different coloured vinyl with individually numbered sleeves housed in a multifold individually numbered plastic folder and full colour slip insert. Only 500 were made - this one is 396/500 and only sold at Phantom Records I believe. This is tuff to find nowadays and here’s a rare chance to get one that’s complete and in great condition.
(record owned since new & played once on a quality direct drive turntable & stylist to say goodbye)
The whole package is in the condition I bought it when released – plastic folder, covers and vinyl have been graded NEAR MINT as it’s pre-owned.
Released: 1990
Label: Phantom Records
Format: 4x7” vinyl singles
Single 1: Alimony / Three In The Morning (purple vinyl) Catalogue No. PH-24
Single 2: Get On Down / Every Thing You Said (pink vinyl) Catalogue No. PH-26 (includes insert)
Single 3: Swim to Shore / Be Careful (blue vinyl) Catalogue No. PH-27 (includes insert)
Single 4: Hindsight / Dragged Over The Coals (green vinyl) Catalogue No. PH-29
I have an extensive personal collection of indie/alternative records which I will sell over the coming months/year. Most purchased new since the 70’s so keep watching I may have something of interest.
I grade conservatively / impartially and use the UK Record Collector grades
(M) Mint: The record itself is in new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. (EX) Excellent: The record shows slight signs of having been played but there is no lessening in sound quality and the cover and packaging are as new. (VG) Very Good: The record has obviously been played quite a few times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. A slight amount of wear and tear on the cover and extra items is acceptable. (G) Good: The record still produces a reasonable, playable sound but has obviously been played a lot. Although showing wear and tear, neither the record or cover/extra items display major defects. (F) Fair: Sound quality has deteriorated markedly. The cover/extra items display folding, scuffing, marks etc.
