RECENTLY UNEARTHED WHILE CLEANING OUT THE BASEMENT This is a 7" split single featuring Portland punk heros The Automatics on the A-Side and the PRE-EXPLODING HEARTS project "The Iguanas" on the B-Side.... Don't confuse this with Iggy Pop's early band. The Iguanas were Adam (vocals and guitar) and Jeremy (drums) from the Exploding Hearts and featured their friend Ben on bass.... This 7" was issued in 1998 on Shady Troll Records out of San Francisco. This was a VERY limited pressing, something like 300 copies (maybe as many as 500). This particular cover over was created and photocopied by Adam when Shady Troll screwed up and didn't get the covers up to Portland in time for a show... As far as I can remember, there are less than 50 copies of this record with this sleeve.... This is the only vinyl release EVER of the Iguanas. There is slight damage to the cover, mostly from sitting in storage for long, but the vinyl is NEAR MINT- I played it once through to make it sure it works. This record has ONLY been played ONCE.
