Description

Artist: THE INNKEEPER BAND. Titles: A side: I COULD NEVER HURT YOU, GIRL; B side: FEELING ALRIGHT. Labels: VG-...writing on A side. Vinyl: VG-...numerous light scratches. Sound: VG-..moderate background noise throughout both tunes, but plays through without skipping, and actually very nice sound for its condition. Special note: I COULD NEVER HURT YOU, GIRL can be heard on youtube.com, and the sound you will hear on the youtube listing is very close to this 45, in that the background noise is more prevalent at the beginning of the song, and lightens up quite a bit about 20 seconds into the tune when the lead singer begins singing...very pleasant sound after the first 20 seconds, actually.
There were only 200 copies made of this monster rare 45 on this equally rare TEXAS label so it is highly, highly collectible.  I suggest you read the comments on the youtube listing, as there are some very interesting comments from the people who saw this very talented band perform in the RGV, and even some comments from those who actually knew the band members back in the late 1960's and early 1970's...pretty special stuff!
