SUPERB CONDITION, RARE ORIGINAL UK SOUNDTRACK LP.
The Italian Job is a 1969 British caper film, written by Troy Kennedy Martin, produced by Michael Deeley and directed by Peter Collinson. Subsequent television showings and releases on video have made it well known in the United Kingdom. This soundtrack was composed by Quincy Jones, and includes "On Days Like These" sung by Matt Monro over the opening credits, and "Getta Bloomin' Move On" (usually referred to as "The Self-Preservation Society", after its chorus) during the climactic car chase. Lead actor Michael Caine is among its singers.
The STEREO Vinyl LP is on the Grey Paramount Record Labels, with ‘Sold in UK Label Text’ and Made In Great Britain label print. Both record labels are in Excellent Plus condition with just a few signs of play, and both sides of the LP are in Excellent Plus to Near Mint condition, glossy vinyl surfaces, with just a couple of hairlines.
Side 1 matrix’s are. SPFL 256 A-1. and side 2 are. SPFL 256 B-1.
Side 1 stampers are 1 G and side 2 are. 1 R.
The LP comes in its original Garrod & Lofthouse three flip-back, front laminated picture sleeve and is in very nice Excellent condition, with just slight crease damage to the bottom flip-back.
