ORIGINAL UK issue……NOT a German or foreign pressing of any sort!
In 1968, Mal Evans, Beatles championed The Iveys’ cause and brought the band to the attention of the Beatles, who had just founded Apple Records. The Iveys would be the first artists signed to the new label. This is their first release, and though a hit in a few European countries and in Japan, it failed to chart in the U.K. It was produced by Tony Visconti. Sadly, Tom Evans, Pete Ham and Mike Gibbins are no longer with us. This 45 is a reminder of a group that had some bad breaks in the music industry.
Probably: Pete Ham (lead guitar), Tommy Evans (guitar), Ron Griffiths (bass guitar),and Mike Gibbins (drums).
