THE IVY LEAGUE, This is the Ivy League, original debut UK 1965 mono LP.

NPL 38015 original UK 1965 Piccadilly record labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. The Ivy Leagues original UK 1965 debut album,

2. the sleeve is made from the period, thick heavy card,

3. on the record label on side two, track one the writers credit is incorrect as it is printed as ‘Goffin’, when in actual fact this track, ‘Dont worry baby’ was written by Brian Wilson and Roger Christian !,

4. comes with its original period PYE, ‘The best entertainment on record’, advertising inner sleeve’.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in excellent condition and has remained clean white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges have remained clean. The rear of the sleeve features the original tri ‘flipbacks’ design, ie fold over edges. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is the original period PYE, ‘The best entertainment on record’ advertising inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained very clean. A well preserved and very clean inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. There is a slight split to one of the side edges.

THE RECORD: side one is in near excellent condition and side two is in very good++ condition. The record is made from the period 1960s, thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are: NPL 38015 A1 H and NPL 38015 B1 H,

The mother / stampers are: ‘C 1’ and ‘J 1’, also hand engraved onto each side of the ‘run off’ grooves are the letters ‘KT’.

THE AUDIO: side one plays excellent. Side two also plays excellent but I did hear some slight ‘pops’ on track one. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full, loud period mono sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent condition. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
