single by the band THE JAM from 1977, ORIGINAL ACETATE AND A MUST !!!
As you know this single was the second single released by the jam.

Listening to the acetate using a GOLDRING EROICA cartridge all is revealed
closing my eyes the band appears to be in my living room
the sound is unbelievably clean, bright and excitingly vivid!

it is possible this is a different mix as it is apparent in my opinion
that this acetate was not the acetate master electroplated to make the metal master

there are no catalog numbers etched in the dead was only the initials
RFJ are stamped on the A side.

This is a two sided ACETATE with the lacquer coated onto an
aluminum disk as revealed by a single very small spot on the edge
made by media sound N.Y.C. , the text on the labels is typed out on a manual old style typewriter.
acetate comes with the original manilla die cut sleeve it originally came with, It cam from the collection of a NYC area musician and occasional DJ,
The visual condition of the ACETATE is in VG+/EX condition
it plays NM! obviously was not played much if at all, there are some slight age spots and a larger dull area on side a but these are not in the grooved play area of the disk
a very few ultra light hairlines which in and of themselves do not affect play!
after 35 years of storage, surely one of the best sounding acetates I've ever had as they tend to suffer with age and plays).
