Description

This is an original 1965 PROMO 45-RPM "SELSOM RECORDS" single record by the legendary New Jersey bar band THE JAY WALKERS.   This is a rare Jay Walkers "DJ COPY - NOT FOR SALE" PROMOTIONAL 45... likely the only one in existence.

Side A is "I Do" (an original) and side B is "I Got My Own Thing Goin" (written by Bobby Darin).   "Selsom Records" was owned by NJ musician and promoter Norman Seldin.   Both sides have some scratches.

The Jay Walkers were a very popular N.J. band who released several records.   The band in photo #3 is the band on this record.   At one time the band included future BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE E STREET BAND members Steven Van Zandt and Garry Tallent.
