 Here we have an excellent, signed by MOST of band that played on THE JAYHAWKS true forgotten classic Sound of Lies(see photos), signed by Gary Louris, Marc Pearlman, Tim O'Reagan and Karen Grotberg - so only one missing is Kraig Johnson. Every track is strong and covers a lovely range of classic styles, with some particularly good playing/harmonies by the band as they pulled in the slack after Mark Olson left them. Gary Louris really came into his own as the main songwriter, writing a set of deep and personal yet uplifting great songs. Hell, it's the Jayhawks - you know the quality you are going to get!
It pains me to be selling the best of my vinyl but..... I need further funds to finish my own LP and get it produced/mastered! So give this record a loving Home! Here we have an as new - played once only, I personally got it signed by all of the band at one of their blistering live re-union shows last year in Birmingham (UK). This is a quality release - lovely vinyl and black and white lyric sheet, lies have never sounded better than on vinyl and as I have already said - played only once! There are some brilliant tracks here - many of which Gary still plays on his solo tours and for good reason!
