INFORMATION:
The Jazz Messengers "At The Cafe Bohemia" (Volume One)
1957 (?) Blue Note Records. Catalog # BLP-1507 (or BN-LP-1507).
GUARANTEED original pressing of this classic LP. Includes Rudy Van Gelder's "RVG" etching and the ear on both sides dead wax. Both labels have the Lexington Ave. NYC address printed (see images).
Vinyl is in a VG+ condition. Plays WAY better than my grading! Sound quality is excellent. Only a couple of light visual surface marks. One about 1/2" long in the first track of Side A you can lightly feel with a fingernail. You can hear a slight tick for a while, then it goes away (heard on 1st part of Side A sound files below). No jumps or skips. Vinyl still has some shine to it.
The cover is about a strong VG condition. The white parts have a minimal amount of browning to it. Nothing major. Pictures and words are still very vivid and full of color. The bottom opening edge has a 1 1/2" split. A little wear along the entire bottom edge, but no other splits. Other edges have no tears at all. Overall decent shape. There's someones name with the date 5/28/57 in fine blue marker in the upper rear right corner. EXTREMELY RARE ITEM!!! A near impossible record to locate in any condition, and HIGHLY sought after.
