VINYL: (VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD PLUS) Music plays through strong & loud with just a little pop & crackle here & there through out most of the LP with a bit of louder popping at the beginning of Side 1 during the first track. The vinyl is still very shiny with a handful of light marks/scuffs/scratches, a few small but visible scratches in the first track on Side 1 are more audible. Please do take a listen to the excerpts taken from the actual record below...the second excerpt is the part on track 1 that has the more audible pops from the few audible scratches as heard on my turntable. The labels look nice on both sides with no notable signs of wear, just a few spindle marks.
COVER: (VERY GOOD PLUS) The cover looks quite nice with a bit of visible edge & shelf wear, nothing really distracting at all. Looks really nice. Please check out the pictures to see it for yourself too.)
This auction is for the very rare THE JAZZ WE HEARD LAST SUMMER, an original MONO SAVOY MG 12112 pressing, complete with the always admirable RVG (Rudy Van Gelder) stamp in the dead wax. A real tough one to find, especially a copy not beat to complete smithereens. This one still sounds really nice so grab it while you can. Thanks for viewing & good luck with this legendary Jazz LP.
