The Jimi Hendrix Experience – Are You ExperiencedJames Marshall Hendrix (born Johnny Allen Hendrix; November 27, 1942 - September 18, 1970) was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is widely considered to be the greatest guitarist in the history of rock music by other musicians and commentators in the industry, and one of the most important and influential musicians of his era across a range of genres.
This is the very collectable original mono pressing with the front laminated sleeve. It has been well played and is not the best copy you will ever see but a plays really well with only some background crackle here and there, it doesn ’t have any sticks, jumps or clicks! The crackling isn’t overpowering and it doesn’t spoil your enjoyment of the music. It’s the cover that really lets it down as it is very rough looking! As this version of the album is hard to find I have decided to auction it as a ‘collection filler’ for someone. Do not expect it to look great or play perfectly!!!

The album is on Track Records, 612 001. Matrix side one: 612001 A 1 (stamped). Matrix side two: 612001 B 1 (stamped).

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: very good (has quite a few noticeable marks but plays with just some light background crackle in places and no jumps, skips or clicks).
Vinyl side 2: very good (has quite a few noticeable marks but plays with just some light background crackle in places and no jumps, skips or clicks).
Cover (front laminated): good (surface tears top and bottom of front near the spine, bad spine wear, tack holes each side of top edge, sellotaped along top edge, some sellotape residue front and back, aging on back, very rough looking!!!).
The inner sleeve is also a bit rough looking!!!
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
