*Professionally cleaned on a Moth mk2 Pro and play tested on a Rega RP8.
THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - ELECTRIC LADYLAND
First [L=Track Record] press with V1 (Version 1) gatefold sleeve, featuring the controversial image (censored by some outlets at the time) of naked ladies on front/back.
Discerning characteristics of this version:
Cover spread has 'unwrapped/floating' gloss laminate applied, matt print areas left exposed at the two cut edges where the albums insert.
Hendrix on the right hand side when opening the gatefold (behind back sleeve).
Small sepia images of Redding & Mitchell on left (Front cover behind it), with white tracks/credit text below them. "Track Record" logo center, E.J.Day print data to left. Erratic use of upper & lower-case in titles.
NO printing to the left of the Track logo inside the gatefold.
Disc 1 carries sides A and D, disc two has B and C.
On disc 2, side C the machine-stamped run-out has been scratched out and the correct info has been added by hand.
In the BAOI field a ''?'' denotes a scratched-out character.
Recorded: Initial tracks at Olympic Studios, London, January 1968. Completed at Record Plant Studios, Studio A, New York, June to August 1968.
Performers, additional to the band, and technical credits added retrospectively. Taken from the authorized Hendrix family trust releases on the Experience Hendrix label.

Vinyl VG+/Ex
The Vinyl still retains its beautiful iridescent lustre.
There are some hairlines and rub marks to the vinyl but no deep feelable scratches that effect playback.
There are some white marks on the vinyl which I believe are from manufacturing as they are non removable and appear embedded in the vinyl.. do not effect playback (see pics)
No skipping or jumping...plays really deep, Loud and clear!
There is some crackle at the start just after the run in on both sides.. and the occasional bit on the quietest sections but overall a really great original complete copy!
Sound tested on a Rega RP-8 turntable!
Sleeve VG+/EX
Conservative assessment here..
Some lamination creasing around sleeve edges and visible Disc impression -very common with original pressing due to card thickness and laminate tightness!
Spine is ever so slightly faded..the female flesh appears slightly more green on the spine than normal. Putting this down to sun damage.
Incredible copy of a truly amazing record.. rarely do original copies turn up for sale in this condition
