THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE:
AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE. Reissue of 1983.
This early Hendrix Album played very well on my Record Player without "sticking" or "jumping" but there are a few intermittent "ticks", so I'd like to Grade it as "VG+".
I've tried to fill in as many Item Specifics as I could.
The Outer Sleeve: has a 25mm tear on the edge, but with none of the frequent "spidery creases", I'd like to call it VG+. Although the large sticker has an instruction on it, I did not want to chance it after over 41 years attached to the Sleeve!
The Inner Sleeve: has a tear in the same place as the outer, but is longer at around 40mm, so VG+.
Have tried to show all the above in Images.
This still may be better than most out there, and also better than one you might be trying to replace.
This reissue did not trouble the Official UK Chart in 1983, but the original entered the Chart in mid-December 1967, reaching Number 5 and staying in for 16 weeks. Have Guinness Hit Singles & Albums Book as reference.
Matrix Numbers: SPELP 3A-2U-1-1 & SPELP 3B-2U-1-1. Still not sure about Matrix Numbers, but these end in 1's, so who knows. Someone out there may.
I always use a record cloth before playing, but am sure everyone knows what static does!
Having put all my Records in order early last year (took several weeks!), I've been playing through them for the first time in nearly 30 years - very enjoyable so far - but with space having to be freed up now (this has been in 4 different houses with me), this is the 155th of 366 Artist L.P.'s which I started with (am keeping 92 of them so far), with a further 40 Comedy or Compilation L.P.'s.
