Description

Original 1967 MONO pressing of the debut Jimi Hendrix Experience's LP-'Are You Experienced'. Much rarer LP than it's stereo counterpart as Mono was being phased out in 1967 in favor of the new stereo format. Record is in VG or lesser condition. Has an unfortunate blemish (not deep or feelable) on side 2 that hinders the first 2/part of 3rd songs with a light 'click/crackle' during rotation-but does not skip. (see pic #6 ). Aside from this there are some scattered light marks here and there that produce some light,unobtrusive crackle.Plays stronger than you would think it should.Much different mix compared to the stereo version as well.You will hear the subtle differences upon listening. I played the entire LP (through headphones) before listing it and overall experienced (no pun intended) a more than decent playing copy. A scarce Hendrix LP in spite of it's flaws.Thanks for your interest & fly your freak flag high.
