Description
One of the most sought-after music library releases as well as one of the scarcest European beat albums, this 12-track 10” album was recorded in England in 1964 by Dutch beat band the Jumping Jewels, and pressed the same year by de Wolfe. By the late 1970s, it was in such demand on the Continent that a reissue appeared in Belgium, though that release was housed in a different sleeve that featured a photo of the band on the front cover.
This is the original 1964 de Wolfe pressing, only made for the film and TV industry, with the original flipback sleeve design and tri-colour de Wolfe labels. The laminated sleeve is in beautiful M- condition, and the disc itself is absolutely mint and looks like it’s never been played! An extremely rare item that’s almost 50 years old – impossible to find in any condition, but you will never find a better copy than this!
