This record is in excellent- condition. It has only very faint spindle marks visible on the labels and no pen marks, scuffs or severe fading anywhere. There is little to no wear around the centre holes and overall the labels are clean, bright and in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing serious showing and for its age it is clean. There are some minor light lines visible in normal light and also the occasional faint sleeve scuff but these are not deep or serious. There are more incredibly light wispy lines and manufacturing whiskers visible under very bright white light but again nothing sinister or deep. So overall a used vintage record that is free from anything serious, has a lovely gloss but has some signs of use and age.
I play tested the record and it plays well overall and is still an enjoyable listen that is easy to follow. It lays flat and there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced is excellent overall with no major issues and no serious levels of interference. There are no skips, sticks or loud disruptive ticks and on the whole only occasional light surface noise. I did note some light surface noise in the run in and quieter first track on side 2 but nothing excessive. There was also the odd splutter or noise but overall the audio is a solid EX- grade and is easy to follow.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. It has mild rubbing and wear to the edges and corners but the writing on the spine is still all legible. There are no tears, scuffs, splits or pen marks anywhere and overall the sleeve is solid all round. It has its original colour story booklet firmly attached inside and this has no major issues. There is however grubbiness and age related discolouring throughout the sleeve. This is clearly noticeable on the rear, and also inside the gatefold(first and last page). The booklet also has some present in places but nothing to an extreme level. Overall a solid and tidy vintage sleeve but one that has the discolouring and related grubbiness as mentioned. I have tried my best to explain the sleeves condition but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It contains a brand new plain white replacement inner as the original was missing.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
