THE KILLER BEES original 1979 vinyl , 2010 new sleeve, punk 45 on LIMP, T.V.VIOLENCE backed with ROCK AND ROLL HANGOVER....Issued on my LIMP label in 1979, as LIMP #032, it was produced by Jimmy Barnett at Catholic University Recording Studios., with help from THE KILLER BEES themselves.(Jimmy played guitar on the record)..They were friends of THE RAZZ, who were also issued on Limp Records, and as a favor to the members of that band, the record was issued, on a very limited basis, on my label. Very few copies ever saw the light of day, most of the pressing having been lost by the group, only recently locating some un-played original copies of the vinyl 45s WITHOUT the picture sleeve!! The records are un-used original stock pressings, and now on behalf of the group and with their help and permission, I have made some new 2010 sleeves to go with these un-earthed 45s.... Here's some info on the group: punk 45 on LIMP, info from the original sleeve notes "Side A, TV Violence, SideB, Rock n Roll Hangover. Band member's, Lead vocal, Joe Schmidt, Lead Guitar Jimmy Barnett, Bass, Steve Potts, Drums Bob Potts, Special thanks, to Mary Schmidt, for making this record possible. 1979." Without a doubt, 2nd rarest 45 on Limp behind IN MY EYES by Minor Thtreat(a split Dischord/Limp release)...Black Market Baby Potential Suicide and The Shirkers 45s are right behind, but both have been re-issued...this 7" will come with a 2010 printed NUMBERED sleeve, with differences from the original sleeve so that buyers will be able to discern between the two...remember, the 7" is an ORIGINAL 1979 pressing!!...by the way, both songs can be heard on You Tube......there was a reissue planned for the 45 due to the tragic unexpected death of Travis Jackson, that issue was delayed for a little while but now available, on Windiam Records...Several years ago, the band gave me the remaining original copies to sell for them, with a numbered re-issue sleeve..*****THIS IS A 7" 45 RPM VINYL RECORD!! *****
