ARTIST: The Kim Sisters TITLE: Their First Album (MLP 8022 - High Fidelity) GRADING: VG (maybe VG+) - Graded pretty conservatively. Most of the record sounds great but does have surface noise in the beginning of tracks. Lots of paper scuffs but nothing deep. Some crackles but no crazy pops or skips. If you want audio please message.
DESCRIPTION:  Crazy good record with a group with a crazy backstory. These 3 "sisters" came from a piano-less South Korea after the war, a war in which there dad was murdered by North Koreans because of his music lessons that he gave to American GI's. The mother was also a musician herself and had the girls learn songs and sing to the GI's, earning them a following. They came out and would end up doing Vegas shows and eventually the Ed Sullivan show where they're the guest who was featured on the show more than any other (including the Beatles). Great LP with great history!
