Description
Offered for sale is a set of 7" vinyl records by The Kinks. They all come in plain / company sleeves, and are as follows:
Tired Of Waiting For You / Come On Now. (1965). The catalogue number is 7N 15759. The vinyl has obviously been played but is good for its age.
The Kwyet Kinks EP: Side 1 - Wait Till The Summer Comes Along / Such A Shame. Side 2 - A Well Respected Man / Don't You Fret. (1965). The catalogue number is NEP 24221. The vinyl itself has a few surface marks and light scratches but plays fine. It does not have its original picture sleeve, it is just in a plain sleeve now. Please note there is an 'N' written in pencil on the centre of the label on both sides.
Sunny Afternoon / I'm Not Like Everybody Else (1966). The catalogue number is 7N 17125. The record plays fine but this is probably in the worst condition of the set. There is a 2/6 written in pen on both labels, and there is a mark on the Sunny Afternoon side of the vinyl. There is also a significant scratch on the B side - please see the pictures.
Dead End Street (Please note this is printed on the label as 'Deadend Street') / Big Black Smoke (1966). The catalogue number is 7N 17222. The vinyl plays fine though there are a fair few surface marks and scratches. The labels are ok but have 1/6 written in pencil on both sides, and there is quite a bit of wear around the spindle on the A side.
Autumn Almanac / Mr Pleasant (1967). The catalogue number is 7N 17400. There are a few marks but the vinyl is actually quite nice and plays fine. The labels are a bit grubby, and the original centre has been replaced with a 45 rpm adapter, but all in all this is pretty good for its age.
Days (Please note this is printed on the label as 'Day's') / She's Got Everything (1968). The catalogue number is 7N 17573. There are a couple of light surface marks and scratches but nothing major and it plays fine. The labels have a few marks but are generally clean, with minor spindle marks.
Overall this is a nice set of 7 inch records from The Kinks, which are more than 50 years old but still have plenty of life left in them for a collector or fan.
