This Auction is for the Album "THE KINKS ARE THE VILLAGE GREEN PRESERVATION SOCIETY", By The Kinks, issued in November of 1968 in the UK, and in January 1969 in the US. I believe this is the 1969 US version. The Cover is in very nice, Solid Condition, having only a slight bit of wear at the edges, and would look great framed. The inner sleeve has a slight tare at the bottom edge, is a little discolored, but otherwise is in good condition. The Album itself is in very good plus condition, having no visible marks or scratches. Both sides of the Album play through very well with no skips or hang-ups, however there is a slight tick on track 1, side 2, that might disappear with a mild cleaning. Also, it has a slight bit of that "Good Old Album Aroma", that every Collector loves! I am Liquidating a Collection that I have accumulated since the Mid 1960's. I do not consider myself to be an expert in the field of record collecting. All the Albums that are being sold, have been well taken care of over the years, to the best of my ability. Each Album is being played, in its entirety, on my Dual 1245 Turntable prior to being listed. Any issues that I have detected, are listed above. My description is based on what I can hear, see with the naked eye, and what you can see in my photos. This is being offered AS IS, and with No WARRANTY. Take a close look at all the pictures, and feel free to ask any questions you may have. This will make a fine addition to any Vintage Vinyl Record Collection.
