PYE LABEL 1968 ORIGINAL FIRST UK MONO PRESSING WITH GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FRAGILE OUTER LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION WITH NEAR EXCELLENT SLEEVE.

Released in 1968 on the PYE label, I am offering today this original first UK MONO pressing of this great concept album from THE KINKS which is titled "ARE THE VILLAGE GREEN PRESERVATION SOCIETY". SO HARD TO FIND AS A MONO ISSUE. The vinyl looks very clean near mint and plays well with excellent audio. Absolutely no sticks or skips etc and features some of Ray Davies's finest compositions including PICTURE BOOK, ANIMAL FARM, PEOPLE TAKE PICTURES OF EACH OTHER, VILLAGE GREEN etc in fact there is not a duff track to be found.
The album comes with its original Garrod & Lofthouse outer laminated fragile gatefold sleeve which is in cleaner than most near excellent condition. it has no stickers or unwanted writing etc but typical of this sleeve has a touch of laminate lifting from the front panel and shows light shelf wear.
A CLASSIC ALBUM THAT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE IN THEIR COLLECTION.
The VINYL, The vinyl is near mint very clean and plays well with excellent audio.
The SLEEVE, The Garrod & Lofthouse outer laminated flimsy gatefold sleeve is in very clean condition with no stickers or unwanted writing etc showing light wear.
The LABELS, The labels are clean with no stickers or unwanted writing etc showing minimal spindle wear.
The INNER, The generic inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
