Description
Hello & Thank you for viewing our auction. Today we our offering an original UK Pressing of The Kinks 1966 LP Face to Face. This is a stereo pressing, as noted on the front cover, (see picture). The paste over Stereo catalog sticker on the back is missing I have it somewhere, and if I am able to locate it prior to the auction closing, it will be included.
This record is on the PYE pink label. The cover is a solid VG++ and the vinyl likewise is borderline VG++/NM. I havent played this record in a long time, but recall it plays nice, minimal if any vinyl noise.
As an added bonus, the album cover is autographed by Ray Davies. The signature was obtained by me in person when I met Ray after a Kinks Concert held at Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia MD, around July/August 1993. Autograph was obtained at the Columbia Inn.
The signature was made with a ball point pen, and is clearly visable, (see picture).
This LP is a great piece that any Kinks Fan / Collector would be proud to have.
