THE KINKS GREATEST HITS 'DEAD END STREET' 1983 STEREO LP + RARE 10" EP ON THE PRT (PRECISION RECORDS AND TAPES) RECORDS LABEL KINK1, A, B, C, D MATRIX NUMBERS
The vinyl is virtually unmarked and plays faultlessly. It grades a excellent.
The labels are clean with no spindle marking.
The glossy single sleeve is solid and intact with edge wear and creasing. It grades as very good.

The Kinks took legal action to halt sales due to the bonus 10" rarities EP.
The album was withdrawn and re released later with different (previously released) tracks.
Side One: MISTY WATER (This one we know from The Great Lost Kinks Album, but it is a different mix!), PICTURES IN THE SAND (Also known from The Great Lost Kinks Album), SPOTTY GROTTY ANNA (This was something entirely new in 1983. A 1968 rehearsal)
Side Two: GROOVY MOVIES (A Dave Davies track from his then unreleased solo album; also a slightly different mix), TIME WILL TELL (Like 'Spotty Grotty Anna' something entirely new in 1983: An outtake from circa 1965),
ROSEMARY ROSE (Also known from The Great Lost Kinks Album)
Ray and Dave Davies immediately took action and the album was pulled from the shops. This makes the album very rare, although all of the above mentioned tracks have turned up on reissued albums as bonus tracks and on boxed sets.
Please note: All vinyl records are graded according to the UK Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide. They are visually graded and all records are play tested. Vinyl graded first then cover.
Records are packed securely complete with stiffeners, vinyl is removed from sleeves before packing to avoid seem splitting during transit, the vinyl and sleeves are always sent in polythene sleeves for extra protection against water damage.
