THE KINKS - KINKS - 1964 MONO UK 1st Press - Superb Audio EX/EX A2T/B2T Pink PYE.
Original 1st Mono pressing on pink PYE labels from
1964. Matrix endings are machine stamped A1T/b1T with the 1s changed to “2” by etching over the top.
Rare to find an original 1st pressing of the Kinks 1st album that plays as well as this one.
Vinyl is free from any major marks or scuffs snd in normal light looks great and retains its original sheen. When viewed under strong light, the vinyl has lots of wispy superficial sleeve removal marks. Nothing feelable. It’s been fully play tested and plays with lovely clear audio throughout. Absolutely NO clicks, NO ticks, NO pops, NO sticks or jumps. It DOES have some very very low level crackle evident non run ins and some of the spaces between tracks but genuinely is very quiet and can’t be heard over any of the music. Grades as EXCELLENT. Nice thick pressed vinyl too!
The original flip back sleeve is EXCELLENT too! Hardly any wear, nice intact spine. It does have a small biro initial on the rear but no other issues other than very very light handling wear.
The original PYE company inner is missing so I have replaced it with a brand new plain poly lined inner.
