PYE NPL.18112 Mono 1965 Made in Gt.Britain.

This is a 1st Press copy of the second Kinks album in original Mono.

Matrix No's are NN 1112 A-1 and NN 1112 B-1. 

Tracks are: Side 1. Look For Me Baby, Got My Feet On The Ground, Nothin' In The World Can Stop Me Worryin' 'Bout That Girl, Naggin' Woman, Wonder Where My Baby Is, Tired Of Waiting. 

Side 2. Dancing In The Street, Don't Ever Change, Come On Now, So Long, You Shouldn't Be Sad, Something Better Beginning.

Record condition: Very good condition, heavyweight vinyl with various surface marks visible, but nothing detrimental to the record itself. There's no crackles, stops, pops or undue surface noise. I've played both sides all the way through and really enjoyed it. The record plays well and sounds great. I love that early "Mono" sound, especially when you crank up the volume a bit. On side 2 there is a visible bruise line through 4 tracks, but on playing you would not even notice it. It is visible, but the record plays through it without any problem. Totally unaffected by it.       

Label condition:  The Pink Pye labels are both in very good condition. There is quite a lot of evidence of play around the spindle hole on both sides, but it is 50 years old. Amazing really. 

Outer Sleeve/Cover:  Original laminated front flipback outer sleeve printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., in very good condition as well. Few small slight wrinkles but nothing major. The rear flipback is fine, a bit of grubbyness along the opening edge, but fabulous, overall condition really for it's age.

Spine condition: The spine itself is in fabulous condition. After all this time, it is still incredibly straight and square and all the printing is undamaged and shows clearly,

    Inner Sleeve: Original Pye advertising paper lined inner sleeve in excellent, original condition.

Summary:  A classic, 1960's Kinks 1st Press LP in lovely, original condition.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
