The Kink Kontroversy
1965 PYE NPL 18131 Matrix no's : NPL18131 A-1 / B-1The vinyl retains excellent sheen with lots of visible marks, predominantly hairlines but also some more noticeable marks or blemishes. On playing there is actually very little surface noise overall, some minor crackle perhaps audible in quiet parts and also some quite loud clicks - but fortunately these occur at the start or between tracks. Overall grading is somewhere between Very Good Plus and Excellent Minus - so a strong VERY GOOD PLUS.
The PINK and BLACK PYE record labels are also graded EXCELLENT MINUS with very little visible spindle wear but there is a numbered sticker stuck on side 2.
The quality card FRONT LAMINATED FLIPBACK sleeve is again somewhere between Excellent Minus and Very Good Plus ! So again a strong VERY GOOD PLUS - overall not too much wear but white card has some discolouration and a number written in biro on the back top right ( matches number on label ) but no splits and spine remains 100% strong and legible.
