Happy to offer surely one of the finest remaining copies of this classic UK 1st press. When I first saw this I was filled with the kind of awe that only a virtually untouched 1960’s LP can bring. The sleeve on this copy is just breathtaking and the vinyl is too. Please read on…
The front-laminated, tri-flipback sleeve grades M- (Mint Minus). THIS IS A SERIOUSLY WELL PRESERVED SLEEVE. If you collect only immaculate Sixties laminates which maintain near full shine, great definition and fully sharp edges and corners, then this one will not disappoint. There’s only ONE tiny, near invisible crease to the centre of the front and that’s it. NONE of the usual small edge creases, no corner wear, no edge wear, absolutely perfect spine without compression and great opening edges with no nicks, feathering or tears. If it weren’t for a tiny ‘dot’ stain to the rear panel (see picture), I’d say NO nothing on this most impressive example. A serious archive state sleeve and truly one for the connoisseur.
The deep pink labels are in keeping with the rest of the package – no damage at all – no writing, scrapes, rubbing, residue and ONLY ONE SPINDLE TRAIL PER SIDE (see photos). Tremendous!
The medium heavy weight vinyl is perhaps one of the finest examples remaining 47 years on from release. THIS IS A SERIOUSLY UNDERUSED DISC. My guess is that it has had ONE play each side. The shine is magnificent – virtually ‘as new’. NO scratches, NO scuffs, NO hairlines, NO nothing to my eyes (and under strong light). A visual delight and fully worthy of a true M- (Mint Minus) visual grade. Archive state! IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO THROUGHOUT and plays just sensational. You will hear NO snap, crackle or pops (not even any surface static), silent run-ins and track divides, NO hiss, clicks, dropouts nor any distortion or groove wear. THIS PLAYS WITH MAXIMUM CLARITY AND WITH NO LOSS OF DEFINITION and is a very LOUD pressing. The play grade matches the visual one and is what you would expect for such a pristine looking record.
Presented in its original Pye advertising inner sleeve (also in super clean and crisp condition), this copy will be VERY hard to beat. Your money back if you don’t agree!
