Description
A great opportunity to buy a VINYL TEST-PRESSING LP from the 1960s by The Kinks called "Live At Kelvin Hall".
This was a concert recorded at the theatre in Glasgow in April 1967.
This is a U.K. pressing from 1967 on the Pye label (NPL 18191) (mono).
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- NPL 18191 A1 F (side one) and NPL 18191 B1 F (side two).
The vinyl has obviously been played many times and it has lots of light surface marks, scratches and scuffs. Despite this, I have played both sides all of the way through and whilst there is surface noise evident from the very beginning, it does play without sticking or jumping. It can possibly be used as a collection-filler.
I should add that it is probably advisable not to use your best stylus on this record.
The plain white labels are reasonably clean and have the catalogue number written on the A-side.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The vinyl will be supplied in a NEW plain white sleeve, as no original cover would have been issued with this pre-release TEST PRESSING.
This is an unusual collectable Kinks LP and should be of interest to avid collectors.
