·      Unlike the similar U.S. collection "Kinks Kronikles", this set contains the original MONO singles mixes of such krucial Kinks klassics as "Waterloo Sunset", "Autumn Almanac", and "Days"; as well as three cuts from the difficult to find mono "Village Green Preservation Society" LP, and a great selection of their earlier hits.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  I am a careful, conservative grader.  All my records are graded visually under strong diffuse light, and I play at least a portion of each record to verify the visual grade.  Any known playback issues are clearly identified in the description.  Note that for evaluation purposes, all of my mono records are played on a turntable with a mono phono cartridge in concert with a mono-capable receiver, which in some instances can reduce apparent surface noise.  For the ultimate enjoyment of classic mono pressings, I highly recommend that purchasers of these records do the same.

I grade both records as NEAR MINT.  A very few light and superficial scratches/abrasions – probably sleeve scuffs - are (barely) visible, but do not detract from the visual integrity or beauty of the vinyl. The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new. 

Play grade for each record is NEAR MINT.  This is simply a gorgeous listen all the way from start to finish, with barely a hint of surface noise to be heard anywhere.  The original mono mixes are clear, punchy and present in this excellent original U.K. pressing.

Cover:

I grade the gatefold cover as EXCELLENT.

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

·        Light ringwear; assessed as a 1 in severity on the scale from 1 to 10.

·        Light wear on the top and bottom seams and the spine.

·        Light scratches and creases in various places.

·        A sticker removal mark just below the top right corner.

Shipping rates quoted are for a typical single album vinyl LP. Multi-album or box sets count as multiple items for the purpose of postage. Domestic shipping is via USPS Priority Mail. Media and Surface Mail rates are available only on orders totaling in excess of $200. All overseas, Mexican and Canadian orders are shipped via Airmail; either First Class International or Priority Mail International - NO EXCEPTIONS. Note that shipping insurance for international packages in only available with Priority Mail International (not all locations covered). Packaging is always careful, secure and impact proof - however, we cannot take responsibility for uninsured items.

We DISCOURAGE our customers from seeking special handling; an additional fee of $25.00 will be applied to all shipments requiring additional packaging or a second, external cardboard box. An additional fee of $20.00 will be applied to all shipments requiring shipment documents (air waybill, bill of lading or similar).
