The Kinks Something Else Pye NPL. 18193 Mono.


Record/Sleeve:

The heavy slab of first press vinyl is fantastic to have and just sounds fantastic. There are hairlines on this and it's not perfect (no nasty marks or anything intrusive though), however once the mono blast comes in it sounds loud, clear and crisp. Even on quieter tracks like 'Two Sisters' nothing gets through. To look at the vinyl is still actually decent but under strong light you can see that it's been played - still grades a nice VG and the play grade is definitely VG+ to EX.

The sleeve is actually structurally quite strong and is better than a lot you see. It does have some corner and edge wear but as said before, it's a presentable sleeve! A very nice VG.
